Lesson 1
Identity in Christ
๐ Group Leader Notes โ Month 1
Facilitator Tips
- Open the session by asking women to introduce themselves using one word that describes how God sees them (e.g., “chosen,” “beloved,” “redeemed”).
- Gently address shame or negative self-talk if it surfaces โ remind the group that this is a safe, judgment-free space.
- Distribute index cards and have each woman write one identity truth she wants to remember. Encourage them to display it somewhere visible at home.
- Close with a group declaration: read 2 Corinthians 5:17 aloud together.
Month 1: Identity in Christ
This month, we focus on who we are in Christ. In a world that often tries to label, limit, or define us by our past, our roles, or our mistakes, God’s Word speaks a better name over us. We are chosen, beloved, redeemed, and made new through Jesus. As we journey together, we will allow the truth of Scripture to shape our thoughts, heal our hearts, and restore our God-given confidence.
Key Scripture
โจ Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
โ 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
Supporting Scriptures
Prayer Focus
๐ This Month’s Prayer Declaration
This month I declare: I am who God says I am. I am a new creation, chosen, holy, and deeply loved. I reject every lie that says otherwise, and I walk boldly in my God-given identity.
Suggested Group Activities & Discussion
Discussion Questions
- How do you currently see yourself, and how does God see you differently?
- What lies have you believed about your identity that God’s Word contradicts?
- Which scripture about your identity in Christ has meant the most to you, and why?
- How has your past shaped how you see yourself, and how can Christ reshape that?
- What would change in your daily life if you truly believed you are who God says you are?
- Testimony Night: Invite women to share brief testimonies of how God has begun to change the way they see themselves.
- Identity Declarations: Provide a list of “In Christ” statements from Scripture and have each woman choose a few to read aloud and personalize.
- Scripture Art: Create simple art or note cards featuring key identity verses to take home as reminders.
๐ INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES โ MONTH 1
- Write a list of 10 identity truths God says about you from Scripture. Post it somewhere you’ll see it every day this week.
- Take a photo of yourself this week and write one thing God sees in you that you are learning to believe. Keep it as a reminder of who you are in Christ.
๐ Weekly Plan โ Month 1
Use this simple four-week flow to guide your sessions and personal time as you explore your identity in Christ.
Week 1 โ Open & Explore
Read 2 Corinthians 5:17 daily. Open your gathering with introductions, inviting each woman to share one word that describes how God sees her (chosen, beloved, redeemed). Discuss together what it really means to be a new creation in Christ.
Week 2 โ Dig into the Word
Work through the Supporting Scriptures checklist together. Have each woman choose one verse that speaks to her identity in Christ and commit to memorizing it throughout the month.
Week 3 โ Group Activity & Discussion
Choose either the Identity Declarations or a Testimony Night activity. Afterward, work through the discussion questions as a group, encouraging honest, open sharing about how God is reshaping identity.
Week 4 โ Reflect & Commit
Give space for each woman to complete her Personal Reflection. Invite volunteers to share identity truths with the group, then pray together using the month’s prayer declaration and check in with accountability partners.
๐ Congratulations! You’ve completed Lesson 1 โ God is so proud of you! Keep going!

Lesson 2
๐ Group Leader Notes โ Month 2
Facilitator Tips
- Begin with a brief check-in: ‘Where did you see God show up for you this past month?’
- Create a ‘fear exchange’ moment: have women anonymously write a fear on paper, fold it, and place it in a basket โ then pray over the basket together.
- Be mindful of women who may be in genuine crisis; have local support resources available.
- End by speaking 2 Timothy 1:7 over the group as a blessing.
Faith Over Fear
Month 2: Faith Over Fear
This month, we lean into a faith that is greater than our fears. Fear often whispers that we are alone, unprepared, or unable, but God invites us to trust Him even when we cannot see the way forward. Faith does not deny the reality of our challenges; it brings those challenges before a faithful God.
As we explore faith over fear, we will learn to fix our eyes on Jesus in the middle of uncertainty. Together, we will encourage one another to step out in obedience, to speak God’s promises out loud, and to remember that His perfect love casts out fear.
Key Scripture
โจ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
โ 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
Supporting Scriptures
Prayer Focus
๐ This Month’s Prayer Declaration
This month I declare: Fear has no power over me. God has given me a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. I choose faith over fear in every situation I face.
Suggested Group Activities & Discussion
- Faith Stories: Invite women to share times when God met them in fearful situations and proved Himself faithful.
- Fear Exchange: Have each woman write down a fear on one side of a card and a promise from Scripture on the other.
- Prayer Circle: Form small circles where women can pray specifically for one another’s fears and needs.
Discussion Questions
- What fear has God been calling you to surrender to Him this month?
- Can you share a time when you chose faith over fear and witnessed God’s faithfulness?
- How can this group support and hold one another accountable in walking boldly in faith?
๐ Personal Reflection
This Month, I Willโฆ
This month, I will surrender my fear of ________________ to God. I will choose faith by ________________, and I will trust God’s promise that ________________.
๐ INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES โ MONTH 2
- Write your current biggest fear at the top of a page. Then find one Scripture that speaks directly to it and write it below. Carry that card with you all week and read it whenever the fear rises.
- Take a 20-minute solo walk and talk to God out loud about what you’re afraid of. Treat it like a conversation, not a prayer performance. Journal what you notice afterward.
๐ Weekly Plan โ Month 2
Follow this rhythm each week as you invite God to grow your faith and quiet your fears.
Week 1 โ Open & Explore
Read 2 Timothy 1:7 daily. Begin with a fear exchange moment โ each woman writes one fear anonymously to lay before the Lord. Discuss where fear has been holding you back from trusting God.
Week 2 โ Dig into the Word
Walk through the Supporting Scriptures checklist together. Invite each woman to choose one promise from Scripture that she will stand on when fear comes.
Week 3 โ Group Activity & Discussion
Choose either the Fear Exchange or Faith Stories activity. Afterward, use the discussion questions to process how God is inviting each woman to live by faith instead of fear.
Week 4 โ Reflect & Commit
Provide time for each woman to complete her Personal Reflection and share one faith step she took this month. Close with a group declaration of 2 Timothy 1:7 and check in with accountability partners.
๐ Congratulations! You’ve completed Lesson 2 โ God is so proud of you! Keep going!

Lesson 3
Walking in Wisdom
๐ Group Leader Notes โ Month 3
Facilitator Tips
- Encourage women to share a recent decision they made with prayer and how God guided them.
- Introduce the concept of ‘wisdom vs. feelings’ โ how do we discern God’s direction vs. our own emotions?
- Consider doing a brief role-play: present a common life scenario and have the group discuss how to apply godly wisdom.
- Reminder for facilitators: you don’t need to have all the answers โ model seeking wisdom together.
Month 3: Walking in Wisdom
This month, we seek to walk in godly wisdom in our daily lives. Wisdom is more than knowledge; it is the gracious ability to apply Godโs truth in real situations, relationships, and decisions. The Lord delights to give wisdom to those who ask Him.
Key Scripture
โจ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
โ James 1:5 (KJV)

Love in Action
Month 4: Love in Action
This month, we focus on love that moves beyond words into action. Godโs love toward us is active, sacrificial, and faithful, and He calls us to love others in the same way. As women of faith, we have the beautiful opportunity to reflect Christโs heart in our homes, churches, and communities.

Facilitator Tips
- Open with sensitivity โ some women may be in the middle of a trial right now. Create space for honesty without pressure.

- Consider a ‘stones of remembrance’ activity: have women write down a past trial God brought them through and share how He was faithful.
- Remind the group: strength doesn’t mean we don’t cry โ it means we cry to the right Person.
Month 5: Strength Through Trials
This month, we look honestly at the trials we face and the strength God supplies. Trials are not a sign that God has forgotten us; they are often the very places where He meets us most deeply, refines our faith, and shows Himself strong on our behalf.
